Forward Deployment Engineer (Full Stack)
Full-time / Part-time
Embed deeply with customers and solve problems across product and implementation.
An engineer who delivers software right next to the customer. You will stand between the product's standard capabilities and each customer's specific requirements, owning everything from design to implementation and operations — full stack.
Responsibilities
- Interview customers and design technical solutions
- Develop web applications across frontend and backend
- Handle deployment, data migration, and integrations in customer environments
- Practice and improve AI-driven development workflows
- Feed technical insights back into the product
What we look for
- Professional web application development experience (roughly 3+ years)
- Modern frontend stack such as TypeScript / React
- Development and operations experience on cloud (AWS / GCP / Cloudflare, etc.)
- Communication skills to shape requirements directly with customers
Nice to have
- Experience building products that embed generative AI
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture experience
- Side projects or OSS contributions
Conditions
- Employment: Full-time or Part-time
- Location: Fully remote — working from outside Japan is possible (for some roles this may not be permitted under our personal-data transfer policy)
- Hires based outside Japan are engaged on a contract basis, regardless of position type
